I have been asked many times how I came up with the idea for my creations. There is no simple answer. Sometimes it is a color, the shape of something, the feel, or a challenge.

 Great Lakes Beadworkers Guild has presented challenges from year to year. This year I am part of their Synergy challenge. It involves a collaboration between beadworker and bead maker to create a piece highlighting a custom bead and reflecting the theme "Yeah...Detroit. So bead it".  It is going to be a necklace.Other challenges included a shoe, a group of eclectic beads and a rain stick.You would not believe what is under all those beads.
